GymHouse
Privacy policy

What this document is about
This explains, in plain language, what data GymHouse keeps about you, what it uses it for, who it is shared with, and what you can do about it.
What data we keep
· About your account: email, name, username, date of birth and gender. If you add them: phone, photo, bio and link.
· About your training: sessions, sets, weights, reps, RPE, routines, personal records and body measurements.
· About what you post: photos and videos, text, comments, likes, who you follow and the messages you exchange with a gym.
· Technical: your signed-in session and a copy on your phone of the data you already saw, so the app works offline.
We don't ask for or store card details: payments are processed by your phone's store.
What we use it for
So the app does what it promises: show you your progress, compute your estimates, show your posts to whoever you decide, and let your gym manage you as a member.
Also to send you the emails the app itself needs: the verification one when you sign up and the password reset one.
We do not sell your personal data.
Who it is shared with
· With other people on GymHouse, according to YOUR settings: a private account is only visible to its accepted followers, and every workout is posted with the visibility you give it.
· With your gym, if you are a member: your visits, the routines it assigns you, and the measurements and notes from your follow-up.
· With the providers that keep the app running: server and database hosting, photo and video storage, email delivery and the nearby-gym search. They process the data on our behalf and only for that.
· When the law requires it.
Your email address is never shown to other people on the app.
Photos and videos
The app asks for access to your camera or gallery only when you're about to upload a photo, and it only uses the one you pick.
The photos and videos you upload are stored in cloud storage and served through a link. When you delete a post, its content stops being reachable from the app.
Where it is stored
On our providers' servers, which may be outside your country.
On your phone we keep your signed-in session and a copy of the data you already saw, so the app works offline. Both are erased when you sign out.
For how long
As long as you have the account.
Some things expire earlier by their own nature: the alerts in your activity inbox are deleted automatically after 30 days.
If you want us to delete your data, write to us at soporte@gymhouse.app.
Your rights
You can see and correct your data from the app itself: in Profile, in Settings → Account and in Settings → Privacy.
From there you also decide who sees your workouts, can make your account private, block anyone and leave a gym.
To request a copy of your data or its deletion, write to us at soporte@gymhouse.app from your account's email address.
Minors
GymHouse is not aimed at people under 16 and we don't knowingly collect their data. If you believe someone under that age created an account, write to us and we'll remove it.
Changes to this policy
If we change something important, the app will ask you to accept it again. The date of the latest revision appears at the end of this document.
